Lego Otaku Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I want to set them up and display them next to my toy shop (lucky found it cheap on eBay due to typo in title) and the new bakery village when it comes out in a couple days. I missed the train set when it came out while I was in the dark age :( I checked BL, there are only sealed sets up for sale, and I don't want to tear open a sealed box. eBay is no better :P BL did show an average of just under $130 for used set so that will be my offer. I will offer $130 via PayPal for a complete set in USA or Canada. Box is not required but it would be nice. You can check me on Bricklist under ID WILYKAT

Hi- I have one and have been doing the same thing as what you want to do- displaying it at Xmas with the Winter Toy Shop. I think my set is complete, with box, I have only booklet 1 of the instructions. I can throw in some RC tracks too. Can check tonight and get back to you. Jon (U.S.)

ManitobaMoe Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I can remember when i walked into a lego brand store and they were blowing them out at 35 bucks a piece. i begged my wife to let my buy 10 as i knew they would go up or i would have one crazy village. Of course she said no. Last year i bought her 1.5 holiday train sets and paid more than i would have for the 10 i wanted to buy. Good luck with finding a cheap one as most sell around 200 to 300 bucks. They don't get much cheaper just because they are opened
