Zane Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Hey, The Brick Testament was featured on BBC show 'Have I Got News For You?' just now. The teams had to fill the blank in '______ to be made out of Lego', the answer being 'Bible Stories'. It also had a picture of a scene, which I can't remember. I think there's a repeat of the show later in the week on BBC 2... -Tilius- Quote

Zane Posted May 1, 2006 Author Posted May 1, 2006 The repeat is tonight, if anyone's interested. Quote
jonfett Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 I saw an article in the free metro paper off the bus, it showed the adam and eve figs and then the last supper setup. I will try and catch the repeat tonight if I can, thanks for the heads up TT! Jon. Quote
Zane Posted May 1, 2006 Author Posted May 1, 2006 No probs! It starts at 10pm, but the Lego doesn't come on until the last round (i.e last 10 minutes). The whole show is worth watching anyways. :$ Quote
vahkimetru Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Not to get religous, I personally am not christian, but would like to see this out of intrest. I saw the book, it is a very impressive version of the Bible. EDIT: Is it on BBC America too? Did a Lego fan write it, or just some guy who wanted to have fun with Lego? Quote
The Hordesman Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Did a Lego fan write it, or just some guy who wanted to have fun with Lego? The Rev. Brendan Powell Smith is an AFOL, and has a brickshelf account. He claims humourosly that he was "heavenly inspired" to make it. Smith is an atheist, but has been praised by christians though been critized for some parts of his work. Quote
vahkimetru Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Okay, thanks. But like I asked, is it on BBC America? Quote
