DLuders Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) There are a LOT of great functions on Robvibest7's Lego Technic Super Car! For his below, he said, "I saw these supercars on youtube. And i wanted to build one for myself. I started building it, and my friends Pætur and Bárður helped me." DLuders Posted September 25, 2010 Author Posted September 25, 2010 The highly-advanced car is a VERY NICE integration of Lego Technic, Mindstorms, AND Model Team functions. I haven't seen all these in ONE car before: - Opening hood (bonnet) - LED headlights - Power Functions engine crankshafts and propulsion - Functional, locking door handles on hinged doors - Rear trunk (boot) compartment containing Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 intelligent brick - Functional accelerator pedal (made functional by NXT brick) - Removable rear trunk (boot) handle reveals Lego Mindstorms Infrared sensor in "Hatch Up" mode. Backup sensor makes "blip" sound to indicate when car is close to rear obstacles. - Line follower (for automatic directional control -- the colors of the tapes indicate when to turn wheels left and right) - 4-speed manual gearbox controls the rear-wheel-drive speed - Wishbone suspension Bravo, Rogvi, Paetur, and Barour! Does anybody know these fellows or have seen this car in person? Quote
Plastic Nurak Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 It's amazing! It's next the idea of supermodel I have. Quote
lcs Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 This thing looks like a monster, I mean it is huge! It has got to be pretty heavy Quote
grohl Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 I like the functions but definitely not the design of the car. It is like a box on the wheels and what takes other points down are the trans-neon headlights. Quote
Plastic Nurak Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 (edited) Wheels are a bit little. But IMO it's maybe the only defect in the model. Edited September 26, 2010 by Plastic Nurak Quote

buddy Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I like this creation, it has great functionality. Although the wheels are too small. ~buddy~ Quote
