Problems with My Two Jeep Willys MOCs

Hey everybody, I have recently made 2 almost identical willys jeeps, the only problem is the as they dont work as well as they did a week ago, what can it be? The knob wheels keep crunching(not slipping) and the torque twist has just started. The nice thing is the yellow jeep has a great 2 spd gearbox that I wish to keep and use again. What do you think I should do, rebuild them or make a 8x8 out of them?

That's because my camera is ruined... In the next couple of day I will buy a new one and hopefully put some better pics.
