Adrian86 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Here is my latest MOC based on Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. This is the scene where Indy has to choose the right grail to save his father. Due to my limited display space I decided to make a smaller version of it on a 16x16 baseplate. Quote
ADHO15 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 No, Indy! Not the golden cup! That's not the right one! Good work, Adrian. It's always nice to see some more Indy MOCs and this scene has been very nicely and accurately made. Well done. Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Great MOC there 'Adrian86', plenty of detail and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Adrian86 Posted September 20, 2010 Author Posted September 20, 2010 Thank you! Yeah, normally the golden cup would be the wrong grail, but as the golden cup was the right grail in the LEGO Indiana Jones video game, I thought it would add a nice touch ;-) Quote
It All Ends Here Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 No, Indy! Not the golden cup! That's not the right one! I thought that to Very nice MOC. Small but very nice Quote
LegoDad42 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Very cool Adrian! I love Indy MoC's. Ah poor Donovan...he's just a lump of bones...he chose...poorly... You know, I think there's a dealer on eBay who makes/sells a custom/brown Holy Grail cup that would be cool for your MoC. Quote
Sam Vimes Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 (edited) Very Nice, but I did not know that Obi-wan Was The Grail Knight Edited September 20, 2010 by Sam Vimes Quote
Admiral Ron Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Great scene! It looks fairly accurate, I would just add more cups, but then it would be too cluttered, so I see your reasoning. I always thought during that scene "How can he have read that same book for 700 years!" Great work! Quote
Adrian86 Posted September 20, 2010 Author Posted September 20, 2010 It must be a really good book with a lot of hidden pages then ;-) You´re right, at first I had a lot more cups but it looked more like a big mess and not like a good sorted cup collection to hide the real grail. I think this amount of cups gets everyone the idea, but if I had done this scene on a bigger baseplate more cups and glasses would have been a must. Good eye, Sam Vines ;-) I thought old Obi-Wan´s face was a very good fit and it was the only flesh coloured head I had that featured an old man with a grey beard. Thanks for all the great comments! Legostein Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Hello! It's great to see more Indiana Jones creations. The little diorama gives a really good impression of the real movie scene and makes you want to watch it again. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
The Legonater Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Ah poor Donovan...he's just a lump of bones...he chose...poorly... I've always loved that line.... That's a nice MOC there. I was always hoping LEGO would make one, but with a new grail cup. Quote
