lightningtiger Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 Thanks 'CallMePie' for the comments. The dealership is a corner site, that small slab on the corner is where bikes will be displayed. Power equipment and marine is in the red trim building, thus the cycle workshop/accessory showroom is the other. I show this soon along with roadways and other nearby buildings. I'm a conformist! ! lightningtiger Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 The guy in the Honda jumper is called Mike Champion Jr. (cool madeup name eh?). Now for the Backstory - Mike Sr. was a motorcycle racing ace in every Lego country, on retiring he went to a quiet country town - guess where ? and settled - openning a cycle repair shop which then expanded into Champion Motors. Sadly a year ago, he had a head-on crash with a truck and his creative spark was extinguished. His son took over and expanded the business into power equipment & marine, also under construction a Goodyear tyre centre and a tractor dealership/farmers supply depot as well. Updating soon and of course.......I'm a conformist! ! Quote

Skafte Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Some dealers have stuff on their roofs, wouldn't a motorcycle look good on the corner part roof? Quote

jonwil Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Do you have any of the checkered flag pieces from various racing themed sets? If you do, putting a couple on the roof near the edges might look good. Quote

I can't wait to see it in your town Thanks 'prateek' for those kind words......well, I be doing a street layout today. Now some bad news....in some way anyway.....I'll have to change the service station - it got wrecked in it's storage box and pieces are missing....so it's back to the drawing board. The park is comming along nicely and the hotel, more slowly though.....roof is a proving to tougher than I first though. Posting more pictures in the related topics later on today ! Oh, yeah......keep on......that plastic brick thingy ! Quote
