From what I read it is from the 60's, but that doesn't necessarily make it valuable. I have been offered $100 for it and wondered if I should accept it or not. I hardly see any wear on that box, pieces look new as well, and this set has the instructions, the ones on bricklink don't. So I guess it's worth a lot more than $150!
