Well, unfortunately I haven't seen any good plays for a long time. The latest good one was Nabucco opera, here in Moscow. However I'm looking forward to Boris Godunov classical opera in Bolshoi Theater. I've seen it two times already, but it's really worth seeing again and again.

So if any of you, ladies and gentlemen, by chance are in Moscow, I strongly recommend you to see it. )

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) :classic:

So, I tried out for Charlotte's Web yesterday and Sunday. I think that I got the part of Avery, Fern's annoying brother. Figures, huh?

My cousin got either Wilbur or the Lamb. There was a shortage of guys (you have to be a MAN to be in theater! ), so the director figured that he'd just use a girl for Wilbur, and my Cousin is tiny, 15 years old, and a VERY good actress. It was odd trying out, because I saw many familiar faces from the play I was in over the summer, Li'l Abner.

Sorry for bumping this relatively old topic, but I wanted to try and fire this discussion back up.

Remember me saying that I tried out for Charlotte's Web? Well, my cousin did get Wilbur, and I got Uncle the Prize Winning Pig. I have 5 lines and 2 whole minutes on stage

The show is next week, starting Thursday with a matinee for the kiddies, and will run until Saturday night.

It's too bad this thread hasn't gotten more attention. I guess there just aren't that many Theater enthusiasts are here.

My latest show, As You Like It just opened last night with a jam-packed house. Being a love-struck shepherd is a lot more fun that you'd think! I'm glad so many people showed up to watch some classic Shakespeare, since not that many people can appreciate it nowadays.

I also saw an interesting show called The Secret Order recently, a dark play about bioethics. It was pretty interesting despite the fact there were only four characters and a simple set.

It would seem that you and I were the Theater Guild, Inky  .

I wish that I was near enough to go see As You Like It , I love Shakespeare.

Sorry to double post (AGAIN), but I wanted to let everyone know that Charlotte's Web opened tonight to a sold out house, and thunderous applause! It was a great show!

There were people standing in the isles... Seats were stolen as people went to the bathroom... A kid puked in the Balcony... And the crowd loved us! We did great  .

Well, I was cast in my high school play, "the little princess" don't know if any of you saw the movie. It's okay, but the roles are mainly female, so the guys were all fighting for the best parts. I have like 3 lines
