dolittle Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Hi, I have been trying to get a hold of any of these inside standard LEGO kits, but I found it to be quite difficult. Beside buying them separately, i.e. Used from bricklink, anyone with an idea where you can get IR Receiver ( http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/58123cx1 ) / Transmitter ( http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/58122cx ) kits? I don't see the LEGO site listing them in any form. Am I missing something? Thanks, Noam Quote

mostlytechnic Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Get the speed remote. Just plan to add some sort of wheels onto the two knobs to make them easier to turn. Quote

shimon Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 I think you should buy both , but in first priority- the normal remote because it can reverse both actions in just 1 click so that the motor can instantly spin in either ways. However if you dont have a mechanism that needs a fast direction change, go for the speed one. Quote
