Izzy Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 This is my take of Number 4. Loosely based on pictures on the internet. I really don't have enough pieces (note the missing 1x1 plates ) to make a back and interior. So it is just a facade. But I had fun anyway. And isn't that what it is all about? Professor McGonagall: "Hagrid! You cannot treat a baby like that!" Hagrid: "Awww look, Lily even knitted him a teeny tiny Gryffindor onesie." Quote
spitfire Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I bet dirt bike is more useful for Hagrid to cruise around in dark forest than Sirius' cruiser Especially since he's not allowed to do magic. Quote
tin7_creations Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Finally! The Hagrid and Harry figs in correct proportional sizes! Quote
It All Ends Here Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Very Nice! and very funny ( I hope that Hagrid didn't wake Harry so ) Quote
badboytje88 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Ah this is so cute, great use of the little minifig. Is this creation on flickr? I need to fave it! Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Not bad at all 'Cutlass Iz'......I just hope Hagrid put his nappy on right ! A bit of SNOT and lots of brown plus a nice garden too ! Great work 'Cutlass Iz' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Vindicare Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Very cool. But, wheres the number 4, it's always talked about as "number 4, Privet Drive". Nice job...well done MOC. Quote
Derek Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Haha I love your choice of using the Harry microfig! It looks like Hagrid is throwing him in the bag! Great MOC too! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Very nice, I actually like it a lot. Considering you didn't had enough bricks, I must say you did a pretty good job Cutlass Iz. The alternating tan and brown bricks, while not accurate, gives a really nice color variation and texture on the walls. The studded roof also works well for the textured roof on the real house. Quote
Hewman Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Beautiful! I love the use of the Hogwarts game fig as baby Harry. The mixed colours of the bricks works really well too. Quote
Matn Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 This is really great, Cutlass Iz. At first glance I didn't really notice it's 'just' a facade. Running out of bricks, it happens to all of us, but you managed to make something very good with it. Great colours and I like the details of the brickwork. Perhaps you can finish it one day, I hope.
