But because i dont know if it's up to the job ,i think 50/60 euro's is a lot of money Quote
DLuders Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 @rjk1977: This TechnicBRICKS post talks about the Firgelli 4" Lego-Compatible Linear Actuator. I would think that it would be GREAT to use to lift the boom on your MOC, IF one could get ahold of one somewhere. Here is a Spec Sheet: http://www.firgelli.com/pdf/L12_datasheet.pdf . Quote
Milan Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 So Conchas, since you have them, did you make some kind of review for them? Or if not, can you do it here? Quote
rjk1977 Posted September 17, 2010 Author Posted September 17, 2010 (edited) This is what i'm thinking of , it's pretty big so i hope the LA would be strong enough , i think the full length of the boom will be over 2,5 metres , and i want to get a jib on it so it will be over 3 metres. I think the LA can push the boom , but i have my doubts when it has it's full length. (then i havn't talked about the load it has to lift) I can't tell how much weight it is what the LA has to push. I see in the datasheet the LA can push at the max. 23N (2.3 kg if i'm right) I hope its enough otherwise i need 2 or scale the MOD down. Perhaps there's an other solution. If someone knows one i like to hear about it. many thanks Edited September 17, 2010 by rjk1977 Quote
rjk1977 Posted September 17, 2010 Author Posted September 17, 2010 maybe this is a solution for you Yes i have seen this selfmade LA's , i have build one of my own. But when there's a "cleaner" solution i prefer that. But the selfmade LA works great btw. many thanks for your reply Quote
PerryMakes Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 I think it would be great if an owner of these Firgelli LA's could post a Review proper. Going by the responses so far, I'll probably pick up a couple of these. I'll post my findings if no one has beat me to the punch. Regards ~ Perry Quote
olaf9198 Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 (edited) rjk 1977 user Lexion430 use the Linear Actuators in almost every moc he made and it looks its just working fine Edited September 11, 2011 by olaf9198 Quote
