Insect-like biomechanical alien mech. The armor is grafted onto the giant alien organism. It is piloted by a smaller N'trite alien pilot. For Mecha Hub Alien contest on Flickr.

I really like how this turned out, but there were a lot of parts I had to rush (such as the back), making the design a bit unstable.

I hate the stand too, but nothing else could support it.

The green stuff is the skin/gills, by the way.

Wow, that looks very cool.

It's got a very nice and organic feel to it, as it is so compact.

The colour scheme is also a definite plus as well.

And the ability to use a ben 10 torso out of the action figure forum is amazing on it's own!

Hello!

Flying mechas are rarely seen! Nice representation! :classic:

I like the double-wings although the seem a bit tiny to carry the weight. I think the 1x12 wedge hinges would work better, but unfortunately the don't come in transparent colour. Agreed, in this case colour is more important than size because it gives the better organic look. :classic:

Nice. Also incredible that you were able to use the ben 10 chest armor thing. Are the green things (attached to the horns on the ben 10 part) glow in the dark?

Not only does this look absolutely amazing, but it looks like it had quite a bit of planning. Like, you didn't rush headlong into building and had some planning beforehand. I'd love to see some other N'trite in the future, but I guess I can only hope.

Thanks for the comments, everyone, however, I just wanted to add:

It seems that people are having a hard time understanding this. This is a space slug. Those tentacles with the red tips are eyes. The black guns are not arms. The real "arms" are where the "leg" are supposed to be (protruding out of the engines). And the wings are just retarded positioning (I might have to retake a picture later on).

This should answer your question,Cheburashka.

It's really impressive how all the system, Ben 10, and Bionicle pieces all blend cohesively, and nothing seems out of place. That also helps contribute to the alien feel to the mech, in addition to the natural and light color scheme. Nice work :alien:
