Kingdoms Advent Calendar Availability

Does anyone know if the Kingdoms Advent Calendar will be available in stores?

IIRC, last year's advent calendar was sold in TRU in North America and the LEGO website does not list the Kingdoms Advent Calendar as a LEGO exclusive.

I saw a few of the City calendars in a local TRU in New York, and they assured me they will be stocking both that one and the Kingdoms one; be aware those things sell like hot cakes though; returning to the same store 2 days later, they had sold all of their City calendars

Yeah, I saw the calendars at TRU one day last year and then I never saw them again lol. I work near a TRU so hopefully I can pop out on my lunch and snag one.

Are they already showing up in stores? Should I be checking already?

I would suggest that you order the calendar directly from LEGO. There is a good chance that you will never happen upon one in Toys R Us. With a limited supply being made available to consumers, it is very possible that your local Toys R Us doesn't get any in stock. Save yourself the hassle and buy it online. Unlike the collectable minifigs you know exactly what you're getting.

My problem is that I can't order it because of my current living conditions and mailing adress. I won't be able to order it until December when I move into my new house.

Thats why I want to pick it up at a store.

Just have a friend order it for you, or use their address. I haven't seen the Kingdoms one either in TRU's. I got mine at a Lego store. But yeah, if you don't have one close to you, may as well get it off the website. Assuming you're in the states(didn't see where you're located), you can get free shipping on standard shipping those month, so it wouldn't be any more expensive than if you bought it at a store.

Remember, you need to buy over $75 in LEGO for the free shipping to take effect. For me it was a perfect excuse to buy multiples .

The only time I was able to find an advent calender at a store was of all places Borders Books, but that was a few years back. I did find a bunch of the Kingdoms and City advent calenders available at my (semi)local Lego factory stores right now.
