Conrad Slater Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 hi everyone I've been interested in Lego since 1982 when I got my first set - I was 5 years old at the time. I kept it all in storage when I got older and then when I was in my twenties I revisted it and started buying lots more at car boot sales. As an adult I got a lot of nostalgic enjoyment from it. It got put back into storage for ten years and now I've started organising it again. This time into set. It's my intention to sell these sets on bricklink but in all honesty I'm struggling to give some of those lovely old sets up. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Welcome to Eurobricks Conrad! It's really hard to let go of lego, that's why I keep mine. Just leave your most treasured ones with you, the lesser ones can go to BL. Well, do enjoy the site. Quote
RoryoCox Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Welcome to Eurobricks. I wouldn't sell all of your old sets, but maybe some. Enjoy the site Quote
Captain Becker Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Welcome to EB, i agree whit everybody else at keep those old sets, untill you dont have some space where to put them and you have must sell something. Captain Becker I started out thinking that I'd keep all my town stuff but I've found I have quite a few classic space sets which I really love and remember playing with the most. From second hand sales I've found insectoid, rock raiders, ice planet, johnny thunder sets which I'll probably sell first. I wish I had a big house so I could keep it all and keep on buying! Quote
CommanderFox Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Welcome Conrad Slater! Just find out which are the rarest of the sets you want to sell and maybe keep them, unless you want the cash. Again welcome and I hope you enjoy EB! CF Quote
