It could also be an amphibian airspeeder or something like that, but I decided to make it a submarine.

I'd really appreciate building advises and feedback.

P.S

I know that my pieces are too dirty, but I don't have time to clean them.

Interesting design for a submarine, though it looks kinda blocky/boxy for a supposed-to-be water dynamic sub. But i like your airlock idea. Again, this MOC would have been 10x better if it were a bit cleaner, it really looks like you don't enjoy cleaning your lego eh?

Well, as a LEGO MOCer, you should know that building with LEGO is much more fun than cleaning it... (but I will clean my LEGO pieces soon...)

Of course building is fun, but what separates a good MOCer from the rest is how he/she presents his creation, and this includes the MOC being presentable and clean. Pls. do take this criticism constructively, believe me your MOCs will be a hundred times better if they were clean. default_blink.gif

Well, I have some sort of trauma:

Once upon a time, I cleaned some of my LEGO pieces, and put them in the bathroom, and when I came back to the bathroom to get them, they got orange (like rust)- I think they oxidized.

How can I avoid it?

Now I understand why you don't clean your lego pieces. What did you used for cleaning? Some sort of cleaning chemical? Usually soap and water are enough for cleaning, as they don't oxidize plastic.

I think I used soap and water, but I don't remember. (It was a long time ago)

Well, I'll try to clean one part, and if it'll work, I'll clean larger bunches of pieces every time.

Maybe it oxidized because the window and the door were closed all day...

I'll dry it with a towel and a hairdryer this time...

As for the blockiness, it could be less blocky if I would remove the airlock chamber.

Thanks everyone! (for looking and commenting)

Well, we got a little off-topic here. Cleaning issues go into the "LEGO General Discussion and News" forum, not into the "LEGO Action Themes" forum, and this is a MOC-topic, not a "should I clean-my pieces and how"-topic.

Personally, I quite like the dirty and worn bricks in this MOC, it gives the submarine a certain authenticity and impression that it has been put to good use, and has been bruised and battered by the elements and creatures down below.

That said, I'd probably wash my hands after handling the submarine :classic:

I like those protruding thingamys at the front. Perhaps you could consider adding robotic arms with claws (or somesuch) to them, so the pilot doesn't have to go outside and get wet to pick up stuff from the ocean floor. But with that fancy airlock keeping the cockpit dry, this might not be so much an issue.

Good job!
