This is the first version. To see the next version, click:

V1.5

V2

Edit: I had a typo in title, it's supposed to be Mini-scale.

The title says everything. I'm not experienced in sci-fi MOCs, so I need feedback.

It looks exactly the same on both sides, so I only took picture of one side.

Nice start to a shape, but needs a lot more!

Even at midi-scale, you need some details that give us a idea what it is. If you hadn't told me, I can't tell if it's a spacecraft, a land or hover type craft, or an underwater craft.

Try details like... engines / propulsion methods, weapons, sensor arrays, doors, exhaust, communications, etc.

I think you're right- it is (half) WIP. But almost everything I add to the shuttle, ruins it's shape.

The shape of the shuttle does look like it's built for the water, good use of slope and wedges for a streamlined finish. Good job on those points. I agree with them regarding the additional details, though I doubt how much more additional elements you could put on a 12- x 6-stud mini-shuttle.

It's really a challenge to add something to model of such small proportions and not ruin the overall design. You could try something like this:

If you like the modifications and you think you have all the necessary bricks I'll send you a html building guide.

Cheers!

Wow! This is much better than mine! Can you send me the instructions? (I don't think I have all of them, but I'll try to change it and build it with my parts.

I think your modification deserves a topic for itself

(By the way, the Eurobrick's rules say that you mustn't post pictures larger than 600x800 (or 800x600, I don't remember)

Like my other MOC, it can be used as a spacecraft or a submarine.

I've just added some sort of engine ad a turret, but it's not nearly as good as Legoman's version.

I'm glad you like it. LDD is my working platform because I have limited stock of bricks and in this case it proves better (for you :classic: ). Send me your e-mail on pm.

Btw I apologize for the size of pictures, I'll keep that in mind in the future.

I have tried to add some things to the shuttle, and here are the results:

But some modifications were not so good...

Dr_Legoman kindly sent me his modification with instructions. Unfortunately, I didn't have some parts, so I improvised.

I can see now that I didn't push the parts properly, so ignore that.

The lever-weapons are supposed to be more "upwards", but they lost their friction with the years.
