thire5 Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Hello, this is my contest entry for FBTB MOC Madness 2010 Building Tournament. flickr Brickshelf Enjoy! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Ooh, very nice! I'm loving the all-black color scheme, the shades of trans-red gives the ship the 'devilish look'. The deatils are just amazing, particularly the greebles, tubes, wirings, and even the dinosaur tail antennae. Certainly job most impressive thire5! Good luck in the contest. Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Excellent SNOT creation - all that black and trans-red - dam it's beautiful - good luck 'thire5' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
QQS Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Perfect creation! Shapes, colour scheme... I prefer symmetry in my space-ships; nevertheless I'd like to build something like that ;) Great use of this Windscreen 6x12x6 Curved! Quote

Blackicep8ntball Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I've already shared some thoughts on this MOC on your Flickr, but I won't hesitate to praise it again here! Some of the elements I have not previously pointed out but that bear mentioning are the angle progression from the cockpit through the rear and your excellent use of piping and tubes. Your angles are well executed, progressing from the shape of the cockpit up to the bulk of the rear of your ship, and they create nice lines in your build. As for the pipes and tubing, you've integrated them very nicely into the build, and they emphasize the "dark fantasy" vibe the ship gives. Congrats on a ship well built, and best of luck in the contest! Quote
dr_spock Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Excellent build. It has a dark sinister feel about it. Quote
Smack Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 As a big fan of the asymmetrical starship I am also a big fan of your build. the trans red and black look great together. I hope you do well in the contest. Quote
Dr_Legoman Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Excellent build. It has a dark sinister feel about it. I couldn't agree more! Only thing that I would change is a weapon on the side of cockpit, it's too bulky for overall design of vessel, maybe smaller one or completely without it would be better, but of course that's my opinion. Everything else is just great. A competitive creation 100%! Good luck! Quote
