I live just north of there in Powell River, but go 2-4 times a year, and planning ahead might make a trip down there for lego in a few months not too bad, anyone in the area know any resale stores, or donation stores or such that might have lego? Or even any actual lego stores? I know Toys R Us has a good selection been going there for games and stuff and even before I got back into lego had fun perusing the aisles for lego to see what new sets there were.

If possible I would suggest you register and attend BrickCon in Seattle the first weekend in October. A bunch of us from VicLUG go every year. There is usualy lots of used LEGO and some PaB(Pick-a-brick=random bulk new LEGO) at the Brick Bazaar at the convention site. We also do a special attendees night @ the Bellevue LEGO brand store which has a good discount on $US prices which means you pay close to 50% off the retail price in Canada.

It is kinda soon and you would need to register by the 15th of this month to get all the goodies but it is well worth it.
