I usually take apart my sets very soon afterwards, as I am very zealous for its parts... So I guess in this case I dislike all of them? I don't know.

On a related note, how many people buy sets more so for the parts in them, then the set itself? With easier to buy individual pieces now probably less so, but growing up I remember a cuople of sets I got more because I needed the pieces in them, then for the set themselves.

I can honestly say that quite a few of the sets that i have gotten are for the parts selection. For the future, i will most definitely getting multiples of Hogwarts Castle for its tan selection, as i am planning a Hogwarts Castle for the future.

I can honestly say that there is only one set that I bought that I dont like...The Frecco Speeder. it just looks horrible and has HUGE gaps everywhere. That is all I have to say on that matter.

Do you take down a modular building after you build it? :)

Interesting question. I think that the most tedious build I've experienced so far has been 10030 UCS Imperial Star Destroyer. There was just so much repetition, and all that light grey eventually just blurred into a sea of misery.

Once completed I thought the model was absolutely spectacular, however - one of the most impressive constructions LEGO has ever designed in my opinion - but the build itself was at times pretty painful.

Building the landing gear of the UCS Millenium Falcon x 7 was also not one of my greatest pleasures in life..... Again, however, the finished model was utterly amazing.

In the interests of 'realism' such repetition is inevitable, so I wouldn't change a thing - sometimes you have to suffer for your art I guess !

My least enjoyable build was the Christmas tree for last year's Winter Toy Shop, I really don't enjoy the rubberiness of those large green leaf/branch pieces. Besides that, the rest of the set was great fun to build.

I buy just sets for which I anticipate interesting building, so I could harldy say that I disliked any of them.

8295 - Telehandle was annoying because steering mechanism was so poorly designed. 8880 Supercar was great build but from time to time really painfull, because of so many pieces being added in one step (and that all over the model, not just on one section) and building consisting mostly of black bricks on black bricks (with poorly readable instructions).

First of all, I have never bought a set that I didn't like and just took them apart after building. For someone with limited 'resources', I carefully plan every purchase that I get to prevent loss/wastage of said valuable resources. So far I've all been satisfied with them - but not completely satisfied. And that's where the taking apart the set comes in:

For SW sets - I never take them apart, only modify right after building to correct the inaccuracies that I see.

For non-SW sets - I take them apart after some time, but not right after building them. I usually let them stay intact for a month or so, then scavenge them for parts I need for my MOCs.
