lsgc Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 (edited) Thought I would get the ball rolling over here on Eurobricks, with my latest offering. Built for the "Get Vertical" challenge over in the Flick Starfighters group. Thanks for looking! Here's to many more to come. More here. Edited August 30, 2010 by lsgc Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Excellent craft must inspired a little by Slave 1 eh ? But question......how stable is it.....only 2 2x1 plates for a base ? Great designing and I'm a conformist! 'lsgc' I'm a conformist! ! Quote
lsgc Posted August 30, 2010 Author Posted August 30, 2010 Excellent craft must inspired a little by Slave 1 eh ? But question......how stable is it.....only 2 2x1 plates for a base ? Great designing and I'm a conformist! 'lsgc' I'm a conformist! ! Yeah the Slave 1 similarity is hard to escape, but I think it has enough differences, too. You know, this is gonna sound like I'm lying, but the stability is surprisingly good. The whole time it was under construction and I wasn't work on it, I would stand it up like that and it didn't fall over once. Nor during the taking of the photos. Thanks for your words of encouragement, lightningtiger! Quote
Fires-storm Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Very well done on this! The shape is very nice, the missiles and weapons compliment are just right, and the cockpit is brilliant I can understand how this would be stable, because if the gear are central enough they could support it easily Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Nice and cute I must say, though I agree with the resemblance to the Slave I, but it still has its distinct look nonetheless. Quote
Legostein Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Hello! This is really a cute little craft! The retractable landing gear is a very clever touch here! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
