Blockburn Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I've been trying to make some minifigs with camouflage uniforms for a while, but i haven't quiet figured out how to go about it. Should I apply a camouflage pattern to the decal which I plan on sticking to the minifigs, and then paint the rest of it, or should I start by painting camouflage onto the minifig and then put on a clear decal that has the various non-camo parts (ammo pouches, medals, etc), or something else? I've never customized a minfig beyond mixing and matching existing parts, so does any one have an idea as to which method I should use? Quote
Dutch Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 How are these? Designed them myself. Modern U.S Solider (ACU) Urban Camoflage by ~Dutch~, on Flickr Modern U.S Solider (ACU) by ~Dutch~, on Flickr Quote
Blockburn Posted August 30, 2010 Author Posted August 30, 2010 While this isnt the camo scheme I was looking for (Erbsenmuster), I do really like it. But, if I could use your decals for the legs and arms as templates, I could probably be able to make it myself. Quote
