roamingstop Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Im not sure if others have reported this. When Im using LDD I get the annoying 'brick click' sound... then after a while it disappears; and all other applications loose sound options as well (e.g. skype, Video Lan Player etc). It needs a reboot to get it working again. Windows XP SP 3. Lenovo X200 Conexant High Definition Smart Audio drivers v221 This happens regularly - whenever I use LDD - but not when I use any other application. I can also replicate it by entering hibernate mode with LDD active. When I restart the sound will be dead. Oh well. Quote

This issue can be fixed by downloading and installing a patch, which can be downloaded " However, I never heard anything about PC problems. What version of DirectX do you have (DirectX sound drivers that is). Will the problem go away if you download the latest DirectX from Microsoft? Quote
roamingstop Posted August 30, 2010 Author Posted August 30, 2010 Good question on the DirectX. I will check - definitely version 9.C or above - as I also have the Direct X SDK installed for development work (using Irrlicht graphics engine). Quote
