MOC: Space Police's new mega cannon

After Snake stole Space police's laser cannon, SP needs a new weapon. So here it is.

The cannon can fold up.

The small gun on the other side is a bit different. I just wanted to make it asymmetrical.

I wanted to put all those big white slope pieces to good use, so here's the result. Hope you like it.

Not very useful for a police force. Unless you know where the alien hideout it and you just wanna nuke it. This is massive, and it looks like a giant centipede with a nuclear warhead on it. Great work, and good use of those slopes!

The cannon looks nice I don't really like the buggy at all. ?Too many <insert that tiresome argument> pieces and it looks like you where going for size over quality. But I do love that cannon. I like how you incorporated the trans dark blue pieces in the center.

I must agree with CMP and C-bug here. This doesn't seem much like a SP vehicle. There's no reason for the SP to have such a large cannon, and the centipede look of it reminds more of Insectoids. I also agree that this looks kinda like just a bunch of <insert that tiresome argument> pieces slapped together, but that doesn't bother me too much since that's basically what a lot of official sets are these days, and it makes for a nice and smooth looking MOC.

Looks good. It's a pretty cool looking centipede tank thingy, but why the police would have one, I can't justify! It seems more like a military vehicle. I could suggest removing the rear-most slope piece and putting something vulnerable in there to justify the other ones. (A minifig with some important controls, or some machinery relating to the cannon.) It just seems that it has big shield-like scales protecting nothing. The other suggestions: to somehow make the cannon look less square towards the end, and maybe add some lights running up the inside the cannon, either connected to the white plates or the trans blue cylinder thing.

Great design, but only useful maybe in a police state 'lisqr' and I'm a conformist! !

Not bad, but I agree with computerbug there seems to be a lot of huge <insert that tiresome argument> pieces. And the cannon does not look the usual barrell-shaped cannon, it looks too blocky IMO. But you could always make it better.
