Is this really your website? If so, then well done! I use Brickfactory regularly for building instructions that aren't on LEGO.com, since unlike Peeron's scan database, you don't need any special membership for unlimited use.

I also have made great use of Brickfactory for learning about old themes-- particularly Space themes, which have a story that the sets don't automatically imply. For instance, I wouldn't have known that Blacktron was first and foremost a spy network without having the many catalogs in different languages to compare.

The multitude of languages is especially useful since I (regrettably) only speak English fluently. By comparing different Google translations of the theme blurbs, I can get a much better idea of the themes than I could if, say, the catalogs were only available in German. And it's totally worth it most of the time-- foreign-language catalogs of the '80s and early '90s are often a lot more explicit than the comparable US catalogs.

The only way I think Brickfactory could be improved considerably is if it had content from LEGO's various official fan magazines over the years. And that would be complicated since unlike the catalogs, content and even availability varies vastly by country. Catalogs, at least, will mostly have the same list of sets they have to cover, while magazines might have an entirely different set of features in each country of publication. Still, it would be a real treat as far as research is concerned, since I prefer to have a comprehensive knowledge of what a theme/faction is or does before I start MOCing something in that theme's style.
