vynsane Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Nicely done, they look just as I remember them. I really like the 'construction' shots with the cranes, and that last shot shows off how intricately you pulled off the small details. Man, I miss those buildings... Quote
L@go Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Wow, that's a great rendition of those famous landmarks - and the size is spectacular! Really well done. I keep admiring people who have the kind of patience that's needed to pull off something like that. I thought the Eiffel Tower took its time I can't help noticing the great Chrysler Building in the background. Do you have some more pics of that as well? Quote
Magina Posted August 24, 2010 Author Posted August 24, 2010 The Chrysler Building is Not me. This Building Likes Rene Hofmeister the Boss ;) of 1000steine.de . At Home we have the Empire State Building and some Skyscraper. At First was finshed the WTC becaue its my Favourite. Quote
Fires-storm Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Nicely done mate, a beautiful and touching tribute build. I really like how well you've captured this stunning building, and wow, the Grand Emporium looks so VERY tiny next to it Well done indeed, and keep bricking. P.S: I remember being in the library, and someone turning on the t.v, and as we live in the state just below New York we watched them fall. Its nice to know they are not forgotten, so thank you. XimenaPaulina Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Thanks for sharing this Rob, these are truly accurate recreations of the iconic and historic WTC twin towers. The close-up shot reveals rather very clever building techniques which cannot be seen when viewed afar. Great job! Quote

Admiral Ron Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Beautiful, full of detail and simply great building techniques, and I am proud that some people will take the time and the effort to build such an American monument, thank you, and I'm a conformist!! Quote

LegoDad42 Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Thank you so much for NEVER FORGETTING the WTC. An amazing tribute and awesome build. Thank you for your skill in building and for a wonderful tribute and reminding everyone to 'never forget'. It's a shame that many have, and some New Yorkers to their incredible shame have. As a New Yorker, born, bred, live will never forget. Thanks Rob. Quote
