Elven Mage Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 (edited) This comic is inspired by a Hero I created in City of Heroes. It was made using adobe photoshop and a cool little program called Comic Book Creator Enjoy, Page 1 Page 2 Cover and Page three coming soon ! EDIT: I release there's a typo in the topic description, but its 5:15 in the morning and besides that it won't let me edit it. Curses !!! Oh well Edited April 18, 2006 by Elven Mage Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 I LOVE the way the art here looks like that of the Batman Animated Shows. I really like that. I also can't seem to get the Comic Creator program working. I've got pictures to use, but I don't think it accepts PNGs... I'll try again another time. I look forward to seeing events unfold! Quote
Elven Mage Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 Im affraid it only allows {jpg. bmp. and gif. files to be used} Here are a few characters I've been working on, the first is an updated version of the hero Red Falcon. The second and third character are others of mine from city of heroes, their names Patriot America and Quick-Fire. I haven't decided if either of them will make an appearance in the comic or not. The last character is a villian of mine from city of villians. Victorian Slasher, I went a completely different route with his costume compared to that of the game, but this is what I imagine he would look like. Also (you can't see it very well) but I gave him a Sword-Cane (one of those walking canes that have a sword concealed within), figured it would fit his "Slasher" name. I'm thinking his calling card will be to leave a Jack from a deck of cards (no particular suit) on all of his victoms... comic appearance ? Most definitely Quote
JoeMI6 Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 That comic is looking great, i love the thoughts he has as he helps prevent the crime, it all fits so well. Very well done. Quote

Thank you, once my friend sends me the new script I will start on the next pages... Also expect the heroes costume to change in the comic, it will look like it does in post #3. In the meantime, heres another hero of mine. This guys name is Keen Marksman, I'm sure you don't need me to explain what his profession is ;) . Although I know you're wondering, "Where the heck are his arrows ?" Well my friends, I really didn't want to go with the quiver or duel-quiver on his back idea. So I came up with a nifty little idea about the arrows being attached to his belt (see those metal cartridges). He pulls one off, pushes a button and "BAM" instant arrow. Clever eh ? :'-) Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 These new heroes are really cool. It's amazing how well you've emulated the style of the Batman and Super Animated shows. Quote
