Matthammer Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 (edited) Hi all, I'm Matt currently in England's west midlands. Always loved lego and having moved back to my parents place i've been selling off most of the stuff i'm never going to use from my childhood. This is pretty much everything except my star wars and lego sets. Despite this i've got no interest in Star Wars lego ;) I've always said that should i reach an actual retirement age you wont find me sat in a loft pottering around with a train set, but taking over a room with a lego layout. More interested in Town and City sets as to me they are more realistic and everyday. Recently been looking at adding to my collection and was astounded to see the price of the new city sets these days, a quick scan of ebay didn't improve things much as used sets seem to be going for over £30 too ... Then i started looking at the compatible sets having previously picked up megablocks and there seems to be 2 downsides. Some of the 'replica' stuff is really ugly or oversized and several sets seem to be close to lego prices. Googled reviews on some of the replica brands and ended up here, so it wasn't all bad.
