TheWarden Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Fairly new so forgive me if I put this in the wrong forum or area. http://www.brandeating.com/2010/08/news-carls-jr-new-philly-cheesesteak.html#more I loled. There is a historical "tale", a Rocky spoof, and a dinosaur rampage. You can see official sets and a bunch of custom minifigs. Oddly enough, there is no LEGO trademark on the ads... guess no official involvement by TLG. Enjoy. Quote
MrTools Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Very funny, thanks for posting them. I liked the "Historic tale" with Ben Franklin coining the phrase "wtf" and Paul Reveres midnight food run. Quote
DLuders Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 "Yo, Adrian", for the non-Americans out there who don't have a clue about what these videos are all about, here are some hints: Video 2: Sylvester Stallone from the 1976 movie, "Rocky". Video 3: Independence from Great Britain Video 4: Godzilla (which the Japanese liked to use in many 1950s movies). Quote

I'm not sure I should comment about that... but you really think we don't have a clue? It's not like Rocky was never shown outside of America... And Godzilla is pretty international as a concept. And you guys broadcast enough about the independence from GB for us to catch on about that too... At least I did. Quote
Inconspicuous Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Ha. Those are great. Thanks for sharing that. Ben Franklin is hilarious, in addition to the monster ringing the bell. Quote
Oky Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 LOL. These are pretty good. I liked the use of headlight bricks as boxing gloves. Anyone think of this before? I want a Carl's Jr. minifig now. And one of those burgers. BURGEEEEEEER! Quote
