I'm building a ship with these hull pieces. Do I have to put this part in the back of the ship? If I don't do so, can I just build a wall and windows (not slopes or brick-built slopes)?

My second question: How many mast and sails I have to put in a ship built from:

Two 2560.gif?0

one 64651.jpg?0

and one 64645.jpg?0?

A ship with two midsections, I'd make it three and then it's best to place one mast on it to create a sloop-like boat.

You need to know which scale you are going to use, how many masts you want, how many decks and guns. 2 large midsections are not enough to build a proper ship I'm afraid.

The only LEGO Pirates ship I have is Brickbeard's Bounty, so I have only 2 midsections, and I have a not-buying-online "policy".

I am not an expert in ships (this will be my first ship MOC), and I think I won't put this MOC on the internet- I just want to gain a bit of experience in ship-building- I don't care about having an "improper" or impractical-looking ship.

By the way, Brickbeard's Bounty had two masts with 2 sails each and only 2 midsections- do you think it is an improper ship?

P.S.

I've decided to build the ship from 2 of every part listed in the origanl post, but I still want to see how a ship with wall-in-the-back-instead-of-hull-piece thing would look.
