AllanSmith Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 They are 2 old CITY coast guard sets. 7738 Helicopter and liferaft and 7739 Patrol boat and tower from 2008. Quote
just2good Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Maybe this means there's gonna be new coast gaurd sets in Summer 2011? Quote
Rocketbilly Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 I don't think it is, sorry. Nothing "Holiday" ish about it, and it's just sets that have been released before, in 2008 I think. Also,The sets involved are far too large to be in an advent calendar. ALSO it's blatantly not official Lego, either - the box is nothing like we've seen before and it's not even got the logo on it. ALSO coat guard isn't a current theme, and I don't think it will be in 2011. Nice find, though and this would be good as a normal set, as I regretably didn't get any coastguard wets when they came out Also, I see you're new. Welcome to Eurobricks, enjoy your time here. regards Will.Rocketbilly Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 (edited) These are not new sets these are from 2008. Just becasue it says '2011' dosn't mean there are being released in 2011 When I translated the page this is what it says "Generations of children and other young at heart have been enthusiastic for: LEGO ® is in our game world to stay. Therefore, Heye for 2011 for the first time a LEGO ® City Calendar with 12 motifs of large construction sites , container port and the fire brigade in the program. The leaves provide ample space next to the motives for their own appointments and notes - one calendar for the whole family ( with sticker sheet and a page birthday calendar". Svelte Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 I've edit the thread title to make this clearer. Please be more specific when posting threads. Thanks! Quote
eiker86 Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Good that someone translated a near english word into english. The site adress links to a calendar site, so why are we talking about new sets? Quote
jansued Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Just ask a German ;-) This is just a normal printed calender with different Lego City themes - no bricks included... Viele Grüße, Quote
