slopemodified Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 (edited) Hello, My name is Jijin, and I live in Perth, Australia. I've been using Eurobricks for a while now, but had not thought about signing up until now. I have found Eurobricks' set reviews very helpful in making purchase decisions. Once, I didn't understand why someone would go to the trouble of taking photos of the building process of a set, including box shots, how many bags, etc. Now I know that it can help the rest of us! Many thanks to those who have done this. Now that I am seeking out good deals on Lego, I find myself consulting the "Aussie sales!" topic frequently. And I would like to contribute, so here I am, trying to make my necessary quota to post. Anyway, I got Lego as a kid, but didn't tinker around with it much, only built the sets. Then I moved and had to sell most of it (a move I now regret ). I kept some of my Technic, but soon entered a 10-year dark age. Now I have been reborn once I joined a group of fellow AFOLs. All I needed was a support group of fellow Lego lovers - I should have done this years ago! I am a member of the Perth Adult Lego Society, and currently doing a massive sorting (does that make you cringe?) Thank you for reading this and many thanks for maintaining this fantastic site. Regards, slopemodified Edited August 13, 2010 by slopemodified Quote

Mr McGow Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Hello slopemodified, welcome to Eurobricks (from a fellow Aussie). Massive sortings make me cringe too! Whenever I start doing one, I usually find an interesting piece, think of a MOC it might look good in and then get side tracked doing that (rather than sorting) Cheers! Quote
