Need help finding a piece

As stated, I need to find the swiveling door frame on the tower that has the bandit skeleton on one side and the crystal/goblets on the other. I got this set on bay, was told it was 100% complete. But, instead of the correct door frame, it was the fatter jail door frame. I've perused Lego pick-a-brick and brick link, but for one reason or another, I couldn't locate it. Help,

The only suggestion i have is that you keep on lucking or you go into a lego show and get some help from them!

Have you tried following the set inventory on bricklink? If it isn't listed, it might be hard to buy.

Plenty on there in white. Suprising considering this set was the only one with a white one in it.

The jail door frame in black is used in the set as well. Is that the one you got or did you get 2 jail door frames from the seller?

I got the jail door frame that's 2x4. I've never bought from brick link before, and I don't buy other than full sets...so I'm not sure how to go about obtaining this piece. I noticed some stores on there have a minimum purchase price, but even with the ones that don't..getting just the door would be crazy

So grab a few extra things from a shop that has it at a reasonable price. Take a look and get a selection of interesting parts or figures to hit the price they require and check if the store is located in the same hemisphere as you so postage costs less

You could always do what I do.

Keep a list of parts you need (in a text file, or on your wanted list on bricklink) and wait until you have enough pieces to make an order.

I buy random lots on a regular basis and use this method to finish sets.

Also - Don't feel overwhelmed, bricklink is as easy as buying something on ebay. You buy your item/items, pay, receive, verify, leave feedback. I was a bit confused the first time I ordered, but the anxiety wore off quickly :)
