priscimar Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Hello guys, as you can see i'm new over here, i found this cool forum while i was looking for some models and tools to recreate some of my sets in my pc. It all began a few months ago, when i was reading my make magazine and read an article that got my atention it was some sort of software for creating legos, so i researched a little bit more and then i discover Ldraw, Leocad, Lpub and you know the rest... I read a few books on the subject and then more soon as i expected i was modeling in my pc, i have a couple of pirates sets done in Ldraw i was wondering if somebody here also uses Ldraw and could provide me with some models, i'm into pirates but any .ldr file with any theme is fine i just want to have a little virtual collection and then be able to design my own ideas and sets. Please send me a private message so i can give you my mail or provide some megaupload links so i can get the files, i will send what i've got so far !!! Thanks Quote
DLuders Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 On Eurobricks' "Advanced Search" feature (at the 2:00 position on the edge of any Eurobricks page), I typed in the search term "LDRAW" and got these results: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=search§ion=search&do=quick_search&search_app=core&fromsearch=1 . You could do the same thing with other terms too. Be advised that there is also a subforum named "Lego Digital Designer and Other Digital Tools" ( http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showforum=128 ). You should be able to locate lots of model files now. Quote
Yoshi648 Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 To add on to what DLuders mentioned about the Lego Digital Designer and Other Digital Tools board, there is this topic which is full of actual Lego sets made in Lego Digital Designer. LDD allows you to export the models into the LDRAW format. Quote
