Leo-J Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 The TS Home Skillet was produced to infiltrate enemy lines and assess their battle tactics. It does not usually engage the enemy, but it is well-armed to fight in the event it gets detected during a reconnaissance run. This ship is currently one of the fastest in the fleet. - SPECS - Class : Thinship (TS) Subclass : Reconnaissance Manufacturer: Space Homeys Interstellar Technologiesâ„¢ Affiliation : Agency for Shroud of Stealth Length : 10m Width : 0.6m (excl. side rails) Total Width : 1.2m (incl. side rails) Engines : 3 Reactionless Space Thrusters Speed : 30G Power Source: 1 Nuclear Fission Reactor Weapons : 1 Electron Particle Beam, 2 Sidemount Multidirectional Ion Blasters Defense : Force Field, Signature Damper Personnel : 1 (pilot/gunner) 1. Vacuum and Cooling Systems 2. Linear Particle Accelerators 3. Storage Rings 4. Klystron Array 5. Sidemount Multidirectional Ion Blaster To cut down on weight, the TS Home Skillet was not fitted with a canopy. Instead, side rails were ample to keep the pilot within the cockpit. I mean, how do you enjoy space if you are not one with it? Nothing like getting sindged by solar flare. Although enemy side attack is still an issue, the Sidemount Multidirectional Ion Blasters offer some counterstrike. More pictures available in Brickshelf Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) I love it, great job on this ship as usual Leo-J! The slim (almost 2-stud-wide) design is very unique, and I like the idea that you made it canopy-less. I also love the numbered details that you highlighted. Edited August 12, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 COOL design 'Leo-J' - really great retro inspired space craft.....I'm a conformist! 'Leo-J' I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Fires-storm Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) Very well done mate...I was trying to think what your name reminded me of, and now I know I loved this design on Mocpages, and looking at it here I love it even more, well done Edited August 12, 2010 by Fires-storm Quote
RoryoCox Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Very nice design. It would look good in a Classic Space base or diorama. The front part looks really good. Quote
Baylego Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Great job! I really like the unique, really thin design of the ship. I had no idea this was a spaceship when I saw the name! I thought it was a town creation Quote
RocketClone Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 The name of this MOC kind of made me think this was a SP3 Gangsta creation, but i was wrong , anyways nice creation the idea of not adding a canopy makes it unique, but instead of using it for reconnaissance, it looks like it could be used for some sort of planetary defense. Rockets away! Quote
