Zorbas Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Here's a larger picture of the harbour scene. Thanks for the hint lightningtiger. Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Glad to help 'Zorbas', I'm a little sad that the imaging in what I download is so poor...quite low res. at least the jet ski instructions are easy to follow.....now for that beach scene....I can see plenty of MOC's by people this year using that beach scene. Well, only a day or so to wait now for images to pop up......now I'm back searching Google News for anything new. Brick On Everyone ! Quote
muscleman Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) Thanks for the pic! I really like the new harbot, the only thing don't be really attractive for my is the truck with boat...but..the others...wow!!! Edited February 13, 2011 by muscleman Quote
L@go Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 ...scan down on to page two of said instructions and we have all the new harbour sets ! Nice. Well spotted! And just like that, Lego (inadvertently?) blew their own 'secret'... Quote
phoinix Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 need to find more space for lego..they are taking over the house and this new harbor isnt going to be easy to resist. thank god i dont like that "marina"!!! Quote
Muddy Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Love both the new polybags - especially the satalite, the torso on the girl for the jet ski is cool to! Glad they added a the jetski I hope they are target sets I just wish there was a comprehensive list of where exclusives could be found... Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Some harbor pictures - harbor Marina Fishing boat Power Boat Transporter City Advent Calendar (Might need to refresh the page if it doesn't load) Quote
Rufus Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Thanks for the pics! Harbour line - great concept, poor execution. It looks like LEGO has gone for function over form here; the boats all have big single-piece hulls designed presumably to float in the bath, but the result is a little ugly. The Harbour set isn't a patch on the last one. My favourite of these is the Paradise Cafe marina, but even that suffers the usual tendency to have a few large pieces as walls or windows, which gives the set a utilitarian look. Still, it makes a change from the usual emergency rescue stuff! Quote
muscleman Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Great news here!! love the new haror and i think we'll find really amzing the new advent calendar too!! need buy all!!! Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 500 pieces for 90 dollars is terrible. I understand that there is a gigantic green piece for the boat, but still it is to expensive. Unless I find this on sale, I'll pass it. Marina looks good! Again the price has to be at least $50 or lower for me to purchase it. Fishing boat looks great! I'll definetly pick this up regardless of price. Advent calender looks pretty nice, and I'll pick it up at the end of the year. Thanks for the pics The Red Brick! Quote
prateek Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 What is this? Some Arctic police centre? Quote
Brickviller Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I think the harbour is great, The last one was also good, but I think it's right to choose for a ship of this size. Not to big but also not to small. The rest of the sets don't appeal me that much, but that's because I can't intergrate most of them in my city Quote

lightningtiger Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Thanks for the links 'The Red Brick', Hmmmm, now marina....yes, I'll buy that, a good playset - plenty to do. Harbour, over priced......I know.....I have a spare boat from coast guard and modify or just add too my 2007 harbour set....done. Hey, money is money, you got to save it where you can ! Mixed feelings about the speed boat and truck, still not sure and the fishing boat, I like it and would also make a great police boat for my town ! Advent with an old school classic town style police car....NICE ! Waiting now for more pictures.......Brick On ! Quote
Yamon Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) Uhhh thanks for pictures! Fishing boat...looks like they just sqaushed it in. I was expecting bigger D:. lightningtiger Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 If you look closely at the harbour set, that little red truck has a sign on it's roof.....HA Transport....looks like we have a new inhouse brand after Octan ! Also by the looks of it that panel piece we first saw in city corner will be now available in red as well as that dark blue in the money truck. Brick On Everyone ! Quote

escortmad79 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) Advent Calendar Box Advent Calendar Contents ~buddy~ Wow! Thank goodness for that, I have a shortage of policemen & burglars I hope they release a Kingdoms one again this year, I'll go for that one again instead of this one Edited February 14, 2011 by escortmad79 Quote
jonwil Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Given that LEGO usually only releases 2 advent calendars a year and they have already announced a Star Wars calendar, I dont think another Kingdoms one will happen. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 What is this? Some Arctic police centre? My sentiments exactly-- apart from the little ice fisher in green, I see nothing in here to get excited about... Certainly not worth 35 of my hard-earned American dollars. Quote
