Navez Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 This is my first attempt at customising Minifigs so please excuse the bad paint job. This was my first attempt at making Guys helmet unfortunately it was far to bulky to use: I went back and re-sculpted it ending up with these two helmets: Next I painted the helmets and minifigs with acrylics and sealed them: And here are the final results, unfortunately the exposed fimo wasn't visible under normal lighting and they were intended as a birthday gift for a friend so they're no longer in my possession to take better pics of. prateek Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Great customs! I love Daft Punk, and these look really accurate. I like the helmets, but the best part is the torsos Quote
Navez Posted August 1, 2010 Author Posted August 1, 2010 Great customs! I love Daft Punk, and these look really accurate. I like the helmets, but the best part is the torsos Thanks, I recently picked up a few of those giant 19cm minifig torches so I'm working on redoing these guys on a macro scale. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Those are neat unique customs Navez. I think you really got the overall Daft Punk feel on the minifigs, especially with the use of helmets and the torso prints. Good job! Quote
Darth Yogi Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Wow! That looks like a 100% improvement. Nice job Quote
