Tyrann Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 A while back I had some free time and decided to put together a battlescene with the various Clone Wars LEGOs I've collected since the first Episode II sets came out. Overall view of the battle: The Republic side: The Separatists: Obi-wan and other Jedi with clone troops near a downed gunship: C-3P0 tends to a wounded soldier in a med-pod: (Yes that is the limited gold C-3P0 mini-fig) Yoda at a forward command post: The Republic's heavy firepower, the AT-TE: A relocatable manned gun turret: Anakin, Awsoka and Commander Fox arrive by gunship: A speeder bike: Another speeder bike with a tool drop-pod salvaged from the downed gunship: Where one droid falls, there is always another ready to take it's place: Ventress and her security droid escorts: A homing spider droid moves in: General Grievous with his personal Magnaguard droids: Many droids make for a fearsome front: A commander droid with his super battle droid escorts being piloted by his pilot droid: Jango Fett makes sure he's at the front line: A hailfire missile droid: STAPs fly past droidekas and the MTT: The MTT unloads another wave of battle droids: The battle from the Separatist side: The view from the Republic side: Total time spent was probably an hour to set them up, shoot and then put them all away. XimenaPaulina Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Pretty nice collection you got there Tyrann. I think you got the basic elements/vehicles for both sides to create such battlescene, even though they are limited in number. I assume this is more of a first battle of Geonosis scene, considering the majority of the vehicles involved. I like how you used the damaged parts of an RGS as cover for your troops (so you have 2 RGS?). Quote

And yes, two RGS, both the original and the more recent. Didn't have space for both, so the original became scrap for the photoshoot. Quote
brickfoot Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Looks great I like how you have parts of ships lying around. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 The AT-PT is post-Geonosis technology. Other than that, nice collection. Welcome to EB! We look forward to more MOCs from you! Quote

BrickClick Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Pretty nice collection you have there Tyrann! Maybe you should consider adding some MOCs too! Quote

Rook Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Lovely dining room. Mmm, Lego for dinner again!?" Quote
382nd Legionnaire Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 nice battle, but if you were aiming for more Geonosis style, there wouldn't be Ahsoka, Cody, or any Phase 2 troopers. You have a lot of vehicles so I would recommend buying clone trooper battlepacks to improve your standing army. Quote
