Excellent balloon 'anna' - nice scenery too ! :sweet:

But I thought Jules Verne stuff goes in the sci-fi forum ?

Anyway it's a sweet looking balloon, nice background and hut as well !

Great work 'anna' and I'm a conformist! ! :sweet:

Amazing balloon! When I saw this, I was amazed at the size of it. :oh: The hut looks good too, and the use of the toy soldier stands as part of the pond looks great! :classic:

What a humoungous balloon, amazing work anna! default_thumbup.gif I could just imagine how heavy that thing is considering the numerous bricks you used. The details below are pretty neat as well.

It looks a little crowdy. Too bad you didn't make it a little bit bigger to have a more peaceful impression.

But, nonetheless, this looks really amazing. I very much like the shape of the balloon! Great job!:classic:

And I like the way you made the trees with those palm leaves. Nice touch!

An amazing job to be sure anna! Some of my favorite details are the landscaping, and the detailing on the cliff's side. Oh, and of course, the freaking amazing and gorgeous balloon :laugh:

Impressive, impressive work. I think sculpting round shapes out of Lego bricks is difficult (I've only ever succeeded in making a basic dome) and so I'm in awe about what you've done here. Do you have any suggestions about how you made it?

thank you all for your comments

Suggestions: Start in the center and make stairs with thin plates. It takes a progressive degradation.

It is also necessary to attach the plates to the back so that the structure is solid.

The easiest way to get a good shape is to trace a leaf on the desired profile and to check whether the placement of bricks that form follows well.

Sorry for my broken English.

The balloon of Jules Verne

Comments are welcome!

Lovely balloon work Anna! You have managed to capture the organic shape of the hot-air balloon quite well. The scene is instantly recognizable. The design of the basket is also very well done. But I think what really brings this together is the scene design and all of the landscaping you did. Great detail there that just makes the MOC "pop".

Well done and keep up the great work!
