Hi all.

I'm a father of an 11 year old son who somehow got my 'star wars geek' gene. We started picking up the sets he wanted This reignited my childhood love of lego and I got hooked.

I didn't build too many MOC's when i was younger. As i started modifying some of our sets to meet my son's vision/need of what they should be like, I've started to give it a try. It's a little difficult right now because of my limited number of parts (don't want to take apart the Arc fighter to make something that the kid thinks is not cool), but working on that. I will post pics soon of what i have made so far.

As i already stated, SW has been my main interest but I'm thinking of shifting MY set buys to City and trains. I really love building anything just to turn a pile parts (plastic gold imo) into a working creation.

Good to see you on the forum! I share your interest in SW, and haven't quite made the shift to City and Trains, but there's a very active and large group of City and Train lovers here. It's neat that your son got you back into Lego; one day hopefully I'll have a son (or even a daughter) who enjoys Lego too . Or maybe they'll just think I'm a nerd-dad. Oh well.
