well..the recent x-wing was almost the same build as the one with yoda's hut so..im guessing its possible

however seeing how not many liked the recent y-wing, they probably will change it..

Red Y-Wing like I said is possible, the leader bomber with the bomb was red, after all it was in season 2, and they usually make CW stuff from the previous season.

Then again who knows with TLG they make no sense, like the Geo' set, it can't be EP1 there was no tactical droid in it, and the episode in season 1 with the blue shadow virus did not have the carrier.

Good point. I guess they're pretty happy with the X-wing design and felt it didn't need an update, and I think the same can be said of the CW Y-wing.

Jordan is some dude whose grandpa works for TLG and somehow got him the 2011 Summer sets. I guess he might be a toy tester for TLG. The red Y-wing is, like everything else in the list, still being treated like a rumor, and I personally will wait for official pics before deciding if I think the rumor is legitimate. Geonosis BP is also still a rumor, and I have no idea how many BPs we're getting.

Actually it's Jordan's grandpa who works for TLG- and Jordan's 20-something. Yeah.

Secondly: The Battle Of Geonosis set does not come with Ki-Adi Mundi but comes with 1 Yellow Clone, 2 Geonosians and 2 Phase 1 clones with 2 BARC Speeders and a Stun Tank

Stun tank?! I'd welcome a set with that vehicle in it!

Agreed, the design for the yellow Y-Wing was really good, if this red Y-Wing does get released it should be good.

Everyone, just remember around this time last year we had Sok117 a newbie at that time, telling us that he had seen the new 2010 sets, and I remember alot of you scoffed and said things like 'we'll wait till we see pics', and I kinda agree, but everything Sok told us about, was released. So think about it, maybe this Jordan that commanderneyo knows is telling the truth. I doubt commanderneyo would provide us with this info if he didn't believe what Jordan had told him.

That's why I posted Y-wing references at the start, so people would know what it's about. Never mind.

The red Y-wing was the one carrying the proton bomb during the Battle of Malastare. Goji was the pilot and Rod was the gunner, so including Anakin, Ahsoka and R2-D2 will probably not happen.

I'm not sure how certain commanderneyo is about which vehicles go with which, but as I mentioned, "didn't you say the AAT comes with two dwarf spider droids?" it may only be a small addition, but we're getting closer to the $250.

Also, even though it may not fit properly, the AAT could be tan to fit the Battle of Naboo set. A 'redeco' AAT, as I understand, should be redecorated and not just be a slight remake of the blue and grey one.

That X-wing wasn't a straight re-release, though. They did update the greys, so there was a slight difference. I suspect that they'll change the Y-wing design slightly to accomodate a proton bomb-dropping mechanism, but probably not much more.

The red/white blur on Hyland's pic might be an Y-wing! That is some backup for the whole "Jordan" thing. A thought on that is no one else bothered that Jordan might cause his grandfather to loose his job?

On the astromech ting in the V-wing, LEGO obviously listened to the complaints from the last one that only a droid head was included and so made a complete droid. Then we complain that it's not accurate!

Anyway some of you seem a little confused about the Stun Tank/ AAT/ Red- Y-Wing.

It works like this:

The Red- Y- Wing are in the same set as the AAT with 2 Spider Droids, Figures that Jordan has told me for now are Goji, Rod and that Tactical Droid on Malastare.

The Stun Tank is in a different set, The Battle Of Geonosis and Jordan mentioned Yellow Clone Troopers which got me thinking, is it possible one of them would be Jet as he was Yellow?

Well, not really, but I've never thought of it that way. I don't think the brown blur is the AAT, though the Y-Wing is possible.

As for the sets, I don't know. I'd like both ships, but probably not in the same set. I'd also prefer a "proper" yellow Y-Wing, but I could go with the red one... The price determines everything though.

I'm not quite following the other rumours. I'll need to read back. If the Geonosis sets are Clone Wars, though, I don't mind.

Y-Wing and AAT can't be 250$. No way. 2 spider droids will never make out the difference between 100$ (price for both standalone sets) and 250. Either there's a lot more included (like 20 minifigs) or the price is 100 dollar off and it's actually 150.

The picture still shows a Republic Frigate for me. However, considering the bad quality, the overall shape still doesn't rule out the possibility of a Y-Wing either - I'm confused.

The brown blur is a Geonosian Starfighter, 100% sure of that. Both sources have confirmed it and the shape is just too right.

commanderneyo, you would be a hero if you really got some pictures - do you know the price for the big Geonosis set?

I just rewatched the Battle of Malastare in TCW. I didn't see too many spider droids, but loads of crab droids - which are bigger and would make much more sense in a set this expensive. And these weird combat droids appear shortly, too. Another interesting thing: The red Y-Wing that drops the bomb has a green astromech.

Now you brought up that picture again, it does seem there's the Y-Wing and the AAT, or the Geonosian starfighter.

But, the red and white thing also looks a bit like a Republic frigate to me.

I'm hoping for a AotC style commander, that would be great.

Another option that pops into my head is commander Bly (which however would make no sense to be stuck into a 'battle of geonosis' cause he wasn't involved).

These new rumours are interesting!

The red Y-Wing actually sounds better now, after originally hating the idea. Hopefully it'll have the bomb with it and a new mechanism. The best part is having two new Pilots to add to the normal ones we already have.

As for the Geonosis based stuff:
