I've been toying with this for awhile now. As I've mentioned a couple times before, I thought that the Oxford weapon sizes were just too big. At least for the military. Luckily most of the weapons have some repetitive areas on them, that can be compressed. So I grabbed myself a knife, and having come across some plastic cement today, I set to work. Since I've picked up so many sets I have an abundance of weapons kicking around. I decided to start by taking some out of the butt and some out of the barrel. I took the heavy gun and reduced both pieces. I think the result is a much more in proportion gun. I'd like to take a little off the barrel, but I think it looks better.

It's not brickarms..but I think it works.

Not yet. I need to get some better glue. This glue isn't really that great. It doesn't seem to be the kind of glue that melts the plastic a little first to make a nice seal. So it isn't creating a strong bond. I think I can shrink the sniper rifle in the same way though it has a long stock and a very long barrel. I used to do Warhammer 40K so I've got a bit of experiences doing this, but the plastic was a little different

Yeah, polyglue doesn't work as well on plastic that's either too soft or too hard (another former Warhammer nerd here). The best one I've found is the Revell Contacta Professional with the long metal applicator, especially for small parts like this.

I don't know if I can get that here in Korea or not. I'll have to look around. Where I picked up this glue it was the only kind. I'll have to see if there are any warhammer stores here at all and see if I can find some of the plastic melting kind.
