Have you ever wondered about fellow Adult Fans of Lego (AFOLs) and Teen Fans of Lego (TFOLs) that you read about on this forum? Like, what countries do we live in, how old are we, are we mostly guys, etc.? Even though this is "Eurobricks", are there many non-Europeans visiting this forum? Well, take this poll and find out! The answers are not being used for any "marketing" purposes -- it's just for curiosity purposes only.

I'm located in South Africa. I also build sets as opposed to MOCs, so I'd definitely say I'm a beginner ;)

I miss a third option just where you have to pick between studfull and studless. The option is "I don't care, I mix both systems as needed" and I believe it would be a very popular one. No offence, but to me keeping to studfull only or studless only is like buying a decent bike and riding on a single wheel only because you don't fancy the other one :)

Hi,

I miss a third option just where you have to pick between studfull and studless. The option is "I don't care, I mix both systems as needed" and I believe it would be a very popular one. I thought the same. I have choosen both. But explicitly saying I mix both systems would have been better.

Anyhow, very interesting poll.

down in New Zealand

still getting to grips with studless building when trying to build MOCs but at the moment but mostly is suffering from a lack of different parts

suffice to say imagination exceeds inventory right now lol will come right eventually

i dont know how to classify this but i build mixed - chassis can be made out of beams or bricks and the shape of the model must be perfect; lot of SNOT (no popping studs not too naked ( some TLG technic models ) any name to that ?

this sort of building gives a lot of head ache though because i try very hard to make the shape as much similar to the real model

even if it means rebuilding everything.

what do you think of this kind of building ?

+1 New Zealand.

Pet peeve about being here: there is an NZ S@H store, but shipping is prohibitively ridiculous.

To buy a smallish set, e.g. 8047, costs NZD45 to purchase and NZD50 to ship!

I'm from Hungary. Two years ago when I was 23 I bought some castle sets because in my childhood castle was my favourite theme. But soon it was not enough, I wanted some challenging build and bought the 8258 Crane truck. I really enjoyed the build so I decided buying other large Technic models.
