grindinggears Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) Hi there I would like to show you a Technic model which resembles an old Lego System set that means a lot to me: The 6512 Landscape Loader was the first Lego model I ever got! I made a compact model that resembles the key points of the 6512 design and put some functions in it, the boom and the bucket are controlled by two knobs in the rear. There are also some gears in it which make it skid steer. The playability is quite good imo, I really enjoyed making such a model. I'm sorry for not publishing a video. You can visit my homepage for more information about this MOC: http://grindinggears.webege.com/en/ (Click here for a German version of the article) There is also a Brickshelf gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=439009 (not yet moderated, some links are here: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/grindinggears/Tribute-to-6512/02_comparison.jpg, http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/grindinggears/Tribute-to-6512/04_strong-little-thing.jpg) I hope you like it, comments are always welcome Grindinggears Edited July 21, 2010 by grindinggears Quote
Jurgen Krooshoop Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Cute model. You captured the looks of that tiny old 6512 well. Quote
Orcasek Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 It looks just like it other then the yellow wheels, nice job! Quote
