Hail, friends!

I was going through ebay last week looking for a couple of good Lego auctions when I found some (make it 3) 6054 Forestmen's Hideout. I decided to place a bid on one of them, and then on a second one, just in case. Thing is: I ended up winning both of them, and that's just because I didn't bid on the third one too.

And mind you: I could have won the second one even if I had bid like 0.99 pence (British cents)! And no one actually bought/bid the third 6054, and there was soon another one for sale.

This got me thinking: is the 6054 Forestmen's Hideout overlooked? I haven't got mine yet (and I never had one either), but it seems such a nice addition to any forest(men)/castle MOC...

Would you be willing to sell one to us?

Oh, please don't ask me that... I haven't even got yet (it's on its way home), but I already have plans for a MOC using the two... And I never had any of the Forestmen's sets when I was a kid.

It's a great set, but I think maybe the bigger ones overshadow it.

I got this set as a kid. I loved it a lot... I never saw the other Forestman sets so the two figs that came with this set were the only ones I had, and none of my friends had any. Of course, I used to muse over the catalogues with the other (2 released outside the US) sets and that picture of an army of green bowmen attacking the Black Knights. Green was my favourite colour, so any green parts or figures were awesome. Space Police II was next in line.

I believe the catalogues we had used completely different set names, and I think this one was Robin Hood's Hideaway. So I made Robin Hood be the one with the white feather. Made perfect sense to me, he was the only one. Little John was the one from the cave set with the black feather. (Not that I ever got that set mind you.)

Wow those are actually pretty good prices even compared to USD... Something to think about. Maybe I can have a little bit of luck thrown in with it as well!

my only logical explanation is: you are.... trully..... very, very lucky!!!

you play good your cards, and now, you have a full house!!!

only that I have to say is that doesn't happen very often, now I envy (and congrats) you

I think that this set might be a little overlooked because it's smaller and only has two minifigs. I remember playing with it at my older cousin's house when I was a kid. It's great despite its smaller size.
