ARC-002 - The Arclight

The Arclight was built in a few hours whilst taking a break from working on the ARC-001 (The Arctana).

It is an agile, short range spaceship capable of atmospheric entry.

Designed with speed in mind, engine capacity takes precedence over armour.

In addition to the ship itself, I also created a scenic base in order to display it.

The ARC-002 has a tendency to surprise the natives whenever it's taken on an excursion to one of those planets where they've yet to develop space flight.

One of these days, someone's going to fit an ARC-002 with cloaking technology, or at least find a way to stop their pilots from flying so low.

I really like this build. An original creation with nice features (I nespecially like the engine). The only thing I would say is that I think the color scheme should be similar to your other ship, the Arctana.

Great small cruiser! Very smooth lines, simple color scheme, but it works very well. Interesting deal with the cockpit. Looks like it has a glass bottom also? Nice blend on the standard parts and Technic pieces.

Another nice ship Darkblane, I love the dual top-bottom glass cockpit. The Arctana is better IMO, but this is still a pretty good ship. default_thumbup.gif Can't wait to see the rest of your ARC series.

I happen to like this even more then The Arctana. Both are great looking mind you, but I like th efeel of this one better.

I look forward to seeing more of your great work! :classic:

Great little spy craft Darthblane, being absolutely horrible at building psacecraft I become very jealous when someone can make a masterpiece like this in just a couple of hours. IO especially love how the smooth front portion turns to a complex engine part in the rear, though I think it is elongated just a little too much.

Batbrick Away!

Cheers everyone, for both the feedback on this and the Arctana.

The color schemes of my ships are probably going to be defined by whatever colors I have the most of at the time.

I used the majority of my orange and black on the Arctana, so couldn't carry the color scheme across and white was the color I had the most curved slopes in.

The technic engine parts don't come in black anyway, otherwise I agree that this would have been really cool in orange and black.
