Sandiego Comic-Con '10

Well with the Sandiego Comic-Con coming up this week, starting the 22nd I believe, it's about time we started a topic for it. Is anybody on here planning on going? What do you think will be revealed there? What goodies will be given? Discuss!

Comic Con is an annual Comic book convention where they showcase comics and the like from major publishers. Major video game and toy companies (I.E. Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony, etc. and Macfarlane, LEGO, Hasbro etc) usually have booths set up as well. They show sneak previews of new movies, books, games and toys that will be coming from these companies in the near future.

I hope we get to see more for Reach, and am excited to see what 343 Industries has to show.

I really want to go to next years now. They look really good (if a little bit geeky). I thought it was just for comic books but as you point out Video games and Lego are there so it looks as if next years holiday is sorted ;-) Just need to break the news to the wife.

I went to Comic-Con around 1999, and even then it was a bizarre, bizarre experience. I got wicked wasted on the second afternoon, and that made it all the more bizarre.

But I didn't get so much swag. I enjoyed the panels I went to though. I just remember the Fantagraphics one I went to that had Peter Bagge at it, and he was wearing a tie! (If you've ever read his stuff, he just doesn't seem the type)

Just remember to look out for people with pens at hall h(There was a fight between two people at hall h, one of them stabbed the other with a pen in the eye which caused a 1 hour Lockdown in Hall H).

I went to this years Con, it was great like previous years. The lines for Hall H this year were crazy especially Tron. I was one of the many people walking around with either a Starro mask or Galactus helmet so you might have seen me. I look forward to next years Con.
