crossmr Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 I found this forum while I was researching Oxford sets here in Korea. I'm Canadian and grew up at the height of Pirates and Castle. My brother got Castle, I got Pirates. As I got older, I mostly collected the Pirates stuff, and I would say that in my parents attic is about 90%~ of the original Pirates run, including some of those whacky native villager sets. I remember it disappeared just after I graduated high school and a couple shops had some big sales and I bought a couple dozen sets that year. Big and small I've got most of them. A couple of the original bigger sets (i'm thinking caribbean clipper and one of the original good guy bases is missing) and I'm missing one of the last big boats, but otherwise I've got pretty much everything else. My brother's castle collection is nowhere near as complete. Having moved to Korea a couple years ago I thought to send some of this Korean lego to my cousin's son. I researched it first, heard some positive stuff and picked up a couple sets for myself since I've been doing without for so long and I must say I'm quite impressed with the quality and the price. I'll probably post some pictures here before long of them as I do have a little room on my shelf to put a couple things ^^ Quote
