Crusaders [Lions] or Black Falcons? Lions or Dragons?

Hail, friends!

I see a lot of people saying they like the Dragons best (maybe it's the underdog thing), and I see many Black Falcons MOCs. These started me wondering who the favourites are: Cruzaders or Black Falcons? The new Lions or the Dragons?

And why?

I like both the Crusaders and the Black Falcons just the same, and in my Legoverse they were two good factions that would eventually engage into war. Sometimes against each other, sometimes against someone else.

As for today, the Lions are the good guys. The Dragons seem to be invaders of some sort, and they are probably the villains - but who knows? So, whom do you prefer - Crusaders or Black Falcons, Lions or Dragons? And why?

I like the new Dragons. I think they look much better than the Lions and have much better equipment. I do not know why I feel this but as soon as I saw them I wanted to have an army of them. The green stands out more than the red as a new colour and looks better.

I cannot speak about the Falcons or Crusaders as I never collected then but from what I have seen I like the Falcons more.

I think the new Dragon nights is the best Castle faction LEGO ever made. Their colours simply makes them look superb, and their crest is pretty nice as well. I don't care much for the new Lion knights, though - but at least they are better than the previous "Lion knights", the Royal knights.

My all time favorite are the Black Knights. But among those you suggest, I would have to go with the new Dragon knights.

Another vote for the dragon knights! I like their dwelling best as well.

Yep, Dragon knights and then the Lion knights, just finished the prison tower rescue half hour or so ago - the Dragons have as much or better weapons than the Lion knights - I still favor the Lions as I'm a Leo by birth.

I am really looking forward to adding the new dragon knights and lion knights to my collection. Even though Lego has portrayed the dragon knights as the invaders (ie. bad guys), I for one don't see either of the factions as the bad guy. I like to pretend that they are all their individual faction or dominion within the greater kingdom. Sometimes there are battles and alliances are made between different factions. I even don't pretend that Vladek is evil, just another faction that tends to make alliances with the more shady factions

I declare my love for the new dragon knights. Their emblem is much cooler than either the old Black Knights or the Dragon Masters' emblems.

Variety is the spice of life.

I've never been keen on massive medieval armies wearing the same heraldry. For me the introduction of two new factions with nice colours and heraldry (no royal knights cartoon lions here) is all that matters. While I still hold a fondness for the older factions, I love the introduction of these new ones as well. It makes building large armies with a diverse set of factions a real possibility. Given that regimented uniforms weren't really a thing of the middle ages, having another couple of houses to add to my kingdom is always appreciated. I do wish we had some barding for the dragon knights. It would also be nice to have the closed helm (visor) in dark pearl grey.

I'm acutally a little torn between the new lions and dragons. Sometimes I prefer the look of the lion knights, and sometimes I lean more towards the dragon knights. My favourite design is the regular lion soldier. Something about the simple yet elegant design of red and white with the lion emblem really gets me. I guess overall though, I would prefer the design of the dragon knight armies. I like their knight and archer minifig designs alot more than the lion versions.
