Flashing lights Vestas 4999

I wanted to show you about a little modification I made about the Vestas windmill 4999.

I made flashing lights in the top of the windmill. Pic's say more than 1000 words .

I used this flashunit of 12v set 7866:

Then build it in the windmill, which can be controlled form mine controlpanel:

When I put the windmill in, the windmill will turn. The lights in the house will burn continusly and the light in the top will flash.

The reason I made this, because the planes can crash into the windmill when it's dark.

Oh and I made a second one Vestaswindmill for my friend, which will soon be moved. His attic is finally ready

Finally the parts came in today, to finish the windmill complete. I made a video, but I doubt it will be clear to see those lights flashing.

Nice mod! Perhaps you could post a photo of what it looks like in the dark? I wish I had a Vestas windmill, looks like an awesome set...

I blocked the switch to go up, in real life the windmill only goes one why.

I have added a movie of the flashing lights of the vestas windmill. I have kept it a bit dark, otherwise you won't see it flashing.

You need Quicktime installed to view the movie and downloading can take some time.
