prateek Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 I would love to see Lego Toy Story or Prince of Persia, since they already hold the license. Quote
Dunjohn Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Prince of Persia The game of the toy of the movie of the game. You do realise what this would do to the space-time fabric, don't you? Quote
MrCustomizer Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Well, after Lego Indy 1 came out, I wanted to see Lego Harry Potter and Lego Spiderman. So happy we got HP. Also a definite must for me is Power Miners. Seems like it would be a great game. Either that or Agents, though that is kinda outdated. Also with the Toy Story 3 out and Cars 2 on its way, I would not be surprised to see LEGO games for those franchises. Though Cars might be unlikely bc it's Duplo. ~MC Quote

CMP Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I always thought a Lego Spiderman game would do well. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 The game of the toy of the movie of the game. You do realise what this would do to the space-time fabric, don't you? You're not thinking 4th dimensionally! Someone has gone back in time and altered events causing the timeline to skew down here creating an alternate 1955. So you see, we can't go back to 1985, because the current 1985 is off of this timeline! We must go back to 1955 to set things right, and return to 1985 as we know it! (That's off the top of my head, it's almost certainly incorrect, but...) Staying on topic, I really, really love to see a Star Wars game, but with the combat system redone Battlefront II style. Other than that, I'm a big fan of strategy games, so a LEGO-fied Age of Empires or Civilization would be awesome. They wouldn't even need a license so long as they use their own title and stuff. Like, Age of LEGO or Brick Empires. Quote
Oky Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) Interesting article, even though they got the Star Wars example wrong (Geonosis arena in Ep.III? FAIL). I agree with them. Toy Story would make a great game, and there should really be some new/better non-licensed LEGO games that you don't have to pay a high monthly fee for. LEGO Cars could be a good game too as long as it's not based on the Duplo line. It could be like Lego Racers, except in the world of cars, where you can build your own Cars character and race tracks. And who wouldn't love a LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean game? By the way, this should probably be in the Multimedia forum. In fact, I think there might be a similar thread there already... SirWacky Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I liked their idea of LEGO LEGO. Just a completely original LEGO game. If they made that I would be very happy Quote
Marckeyh Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Aliens vs predator Grand theft LEGO The secret of monkey island Quote
Ogel Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Just a few off the top of my head: Lego The Lord of the Rings Lego James Bond Lego X-men Lego G.I Joe Lego Dungeons & Dragons (or at least generic Lego Medievel theme) Quote
Fires-storm Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I would like a Lego game based off of their medieval line of toys, or maybe a Modern Warfare or Call of Duty Lego game would be sweet. Also Lego Exoforce could be pretty cool as a game. Quote
ThatGuyWithTheBricks Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 The game of the toy of the movie of the game. You do realise what this would do to the space-time fabric, don't you? But then you're forgetting about if they made a Lego Toy Story game. The army men would be characters from a game of a toy of a toy from a movie about toys! Side-note, i've always wanted Lego Halo, but mostly in sets. Quote
xyxstradus Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I know there was a lego RTS for the DS, but I felt like it coulda been really fun if they designed a version for the PC. Quote
Bobskink Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 I would really like to see Army of Darkness in a Lego Video game... Some themes look cool in Lego aswell, like AvP, but I don't see them working that well in a videogame. When playing a Lego game, I always like to see how they used the story and twisted into the game. Quote
SuperChris Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Lego Toy Story for sure! I even wrote a article on it earlier this month,if I may plug it... I'd also love a Lego Doctor Who game, but chances of that happening are next to nothing. Quote
Batbrick Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Given Mario's propensity to leaning towards the bizarre and odd formats (Party, go-karting, sports, Paper Mario especially) think a lot of fun could actualy be had in adapting another game for the Lego format. Not sure how that could ever come about though, so my second choice is; James Bond! Don't give me that look, Indiana Jones had just as much death, violence and destruction as Bond and certainly didn't shy away from sex even if it was more subtle. I think the many mechanics of the 007 series would lend itself fantastically to Lego's odd sense of humour I enjoy so much. Just look at their take on the Crusader's reaction to Donovan;s death - From "He chose...poorly" to "Heeheehee!" Batbrick Away! Quote
tchuk-norst Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Interesting LEGO Halo, LEGO Modern Warfare...um hasn't it been obvious that LEGO has avoided lines where there is modern, or even sub-modern warfare and weaponry involved? Although Age of Empires style game would be awesome Quote
